Spotted #mirandasings

Spotted the infamous Mirandasings in Bangkok! Gotcha! Did I trick you? Well, if I have then my friend had done a good job diaguising herself as Miranda Sings with buttons up shirt and accentuate red lips. Miranda Sings is one of my favorite people and I would love to meet her one day! Sad enough, Miranda Sings doesn't exist in real life. She's just a character Colleen, a.k.a. "Psychosoprano" on youtube, created. If you haven't check Miranda's channel out then please do because it is so hilarious and you would love her. Also, don't forget to subscribe to her channel "Mirandasings08" for more fun stuff.

Stay Funny,
G.

#DIY cropped jeans jacket (acid wash)

Last weekend I had a blog post about my #DIY project that I considered doing. So here is my first blog post DIY-ing the cropped jeans jacket from the thrift shop, as we all know I LOVE THRIFT SHOP! HERE WE GO!

Things you need:

  • Clothing of your choice
  • Bleach
  • Bucket
  • Tons of elastic bands
  • scissors

Step 1: Prepare the clothing of your choice and bottle of bleach

Step 2: tie your jacket with elastic bands to create design (Well, here I don't know what design I was making.I was trying to make as much wrinkle as possible.)

Step 3: Now it's time to soak your jeans into the bleach. The measurement is 1:5 (1 part bleach and 5 part water) Mine was floating to the surface of the water so the other half of the jacket didn't absorb the bleach so I decide to do 2 hours of each side. So in total, I soaked it in for 4 hours. *Patient is a virtue*

below: the result after 2 hours

Step 5: TADA!! After four hours, rinsed off the jeans with clean tap water and let it air dry. Oh yeah! Don't forget to cut off the elastic bands!!!

See you real soon,
G.

#BIGTIME ain't no rush

I've been re-writing this blog post several times now, because I just don't know how could I put all of this into words. I've been through ups and downs in this couple of weeks that I haven't had any blog post up (both mentally and physically). One good thing is I've decided to work-out after being such a lazy animal for too long, which I later realized that I shouldn't have done that cause once I get back on track of working out again, that would be difficult for my body. Well, that's my lesson I've learnt, now I know I have to exercise even though I don't want to.

Now, let's actually get to the point! I'm thinking about doing clothing d.i.y meaning I would be taking clothes from my own closet and make it wearable again or maybe doing some thrift shopping and polish those old clothes since I already love thrifting myself. I think this would be fun and interest to find more about what you can do with your clothes besides wearing it as it is. Will have to do some research!

See you real soon!

Dream comes true

Even hearing about it makes me smile :) Travelling has always be my passion, see the different part of the world and learning new culture, that you've only heard of in book, now you get to experience for yourself. My plan was to visit places I've only heard on textbooks and minimize the shopping for most part, due to my fairly low budget. Museums, tourist attractions, name it I'm going to all of them. First time going to be in a totally strange places and when I know nobody that makes it more challenging, and to add to the excitement I do not speak the language! YES you've heard that right! But surely that will be the test to test my maturity, if I could handle and solve problem on my own.

Planning starts NOW
